RENATA'S HOME

Renata Bernardes is a journalist and speaks many languages. She is the founder of Viva Santa, an NGO that started the revitalization process of Santa Teresa neighborhood in 1995. Her very wide house is an excellent example of what is an eclectic style. In each cozy room we have the feeling that we are at our own house. The high ceiling, the always fresh temperature, and the interior design express the owner's good taste. The garden, where breakfast is served, is a perfect place to hang out. If you like animals, there you will fid cats, turtles, and monkeys all around! The house's in a perfect location: the local supermarket and the police office are right across the street. Although it is a quiet place, it is located at the main street, so there are buses and street cars that may take you to Lapa and the downtown area in about 5 minutes. From there, by taking the underground connection you may get to Copacabana or Ipanema beaches in 20 minutes.
